 As Spring approaches, why not join your local tennis club? Otura, 8 kms from Granada, has its own tennis facilities - 'Club Deportivo Garros.' There are plenty of courts, so adults can play while the children take a class and increase their hand-eye coordination.
Tennis Lessons: 1 hour - 10 euros.

 During the last 10 years, Franca has dedicated her time to teaching and performing in different schools and places in Europe. She speaks Spanish, Italian, German and English. She is available to give workshops and classes in any country.
The course at "La Lomilla" is in a peaceful country house in the Sierra Nevada national park.
The course at Cortijo "Sta. Cruz" has 3 star hotel accommodation in Órgiva, an interesting market town. |

 Sailing is a popular activity in this area and both sailing and motor boats can be hired / chartered. The Motril yacht club (Club Nautico de Motril) is very active in competitive dinghy sailing and hosts regular regattas with entrants from many parts of Spain.
There is an enthusiastic children's club here also. Tuition is available. In La Herradura the yacht harbour of Marina del Esté is a wonderful visit. |

 The National BMX Championship will be held at 'El Olivarillo', El Padul on the 1st and 2nd of April 2006. The club also has its own league. Contact Padul town hall, if you would like to join.

 Why not learn Spanish and play some sport on the same day? La Herradura Centro de Ensenanza offers a 3 hour Spanish class in the morning and 1 hour of tennis in the afternoon.
Children from the ages of 6 to 14 can take lessons on Saturday.
They also offer, diving, windsurfing and sailing courses. You can try your hand at any, or all, of the activities offered by this school; and if you find one you particularly enjoy – you can take the course! |
